How things a are progressing and some dates

How are things progressing:

This last round of chemo really added to my fatigue. This is not something where I'm sleepy, just lack of energy.  I'm over week out from my chemo and I should have more energy than I do. It is hard to work more than 2-3 hours outside the house as I come home pretty tired. It does seem that after 4:00 I get more of an energy boost.

I'm starting to get neuropathy in my left hand with it being numb and tingly.  I will be talking to the Dr. about this as I don't want this to be permanent.

From a depression and anxiety dimension,  my depression seems to be getting slowly better.  I'm doing everything I should be to manage my serotonin levels.  I'm also having some days with little anxiety.

Some dates:

I talked with the surgeon and this lines up some tentative dates for the surgery. Seeing the seriousness of the surgery, It is a bit scary. It seems that it is far away but looking at the dates, and all of the things that need to go on, and recovery from chemo, it is happening

Feb 20th:

This will be my last round of chemo. It will mean that I have completed 8 cycles.  I will still need the recovery time afterwords.

March 4-15:

I will be going back temporarily to full time work.  This also will help with time off for surgery. I don't know how hard this will be as my current energy level is low.  I'm hoping that I can do this.

March 6th:

This is the date where I would have a 9th round but will not. I'm hoping that I'm still continue to quickly recover during this time.

March 11-20:

This time is for pre-operative tests. I will get another PET scan to check if the tumor is gone.  If so, I can proceed with surgery without radiation.
I also will need a PFT test that will check my lung capacitiy.
I will need a echocardiogram to check out my heart.

March 21st:

This is when I have my pre-operative meeting with my surgeon to go over all of the tests.

April 2nd:

This is my scheduled Surgical date.

April 2nd - 16th:

I should expect that I will be in the hospital full time recovering. From what I understand, the recovery process will be slow and I'll need some monitoring

Rest of April, May and Early June:

I will be off from work recovering. In the June time-frame I will be headed back to work part time.
